THE GREAT WAR AT CORNUDA
During the Great War the Cornuda hills afforded a tactical advantage over the enemy, thanks to a view that went from Grappa to Montello.
At La Rocca there are some features of interest linked to the vicissitudes of the Great War: the Sacred Tree, the Shelter Tunnel, the Monument to the Pontifical Dragoons and the Madonna della Rocca Sanctuary, several times hit and damaged.
In the Fagarè Wood you can take a path called the “Trenches Path.”
