Soft raft
The river Silehas been a protected Regional Natural Park since 1991. The best way to discover it is floating along with its flow, aided only by the rhythmic movement of your paddles.
A trip on a large, stable and safe raft led by a skilled, expert nature guide will make you fall in love with this fabulous water course, which is unlike any other in Europe: As you head down the river discovering its different environments, you will go past mills, coots, old transport boats, inns and alders.
From the lively bights of the upper Sile to the little ports of Casier, Cendon and Casale, a day on the river is always a marvellous experience.
At weekends it is quite common to see the waters of the river become populated with colourful kayaks and canoes – in fact there are many water-sport enthusiasts who decide to explore the Natural Park of the River Sile aboard a canoe or suchlike rafting down the longest river of resurgent water in Europe. The slow movement of the currents makes this river the perfect place for those who wish to practice this sport in safety and follow the many courses made available by the operators in the area while at the same time enjoying the beautiful, natural surroundings.
